The purpose of Wheatlands Chapter CLMA: CLMA is the Clinical Laboratory Management Association (CLMA). Founded in 1976, CLMA is an international association of 5300 clincial laboratory professionals. CLMA provides leadership in the clinical laboratory industry, supporting professionals at every stage of their career. They educate and advocate on behalf of members and play a leadership role in enhancing the image and increaing the visibility of our profession. To encourage cooperation and exchange of information among those engaged in management of clinical laboratories. To enhance professional, managerial, leadership and administrative skills in clinical laboratories. To improve the professional competence of it's members by holding conferences, workshops and seminars. To publish educational materials. To encourage, promote and maintain high standards of management in clinical laboratories.
